Old Art Deco desk lamp

Very pretty art deco reading lamp or desk lamp. Manufactured in england around 1925, it is a model produced by the gec (general electric company), a former british company founded in 1886 and which disappeared in 1999. Model found under the reference flexolet f2957. All in gilded brass, its arm is flexible, the shell lampshade is adjustable. It is equipped with a butterfly switch. The weighted cast iron foot ensures perfect stability. In working order, the electrical system is original. Works with a bayonet bulb (not supplied with the lamp). Only the electrical plug was replaced. Visible signs of age: a very small dent on the exterior part of the lampshade and a few small marks in the folds of the lampshade. Height (taken halfway up in reading position): 45 cm width: approximately 47 cm reflector: h9 cm X w20 cm X d12.5 cm diameter at base: 15.5 cm.
