Antique Traditional Handmade Children's Crib Museum object Balkans 1890

Antique wooden crib from a Balkan mountain region, handmade and richly decorated with symbolic carvings, probably from the 19th or early 20th century. Similar examples are in the collections of the British Museum and the National Museum of Posnan. The design is reminiscent of Etruscan or even Northern Scandinavian art. Dimensions: Length: 78/57 cm.
