Rare and beautiful commode known as a "sauteuse" in the Louis XV style, entirely made of genuine solid wood, probably oak, cherry, or fruitwood. It features two rows of drawers and rests on high curved legs, giving it a light and slender appearance. This is an elegant and classic piece of furniture, identifiable by several typical characteristics of French cabinetry signed by Annemasse. It likely dates from the 1920s. It is in good condition with a very nice light honey wood patina that gives it a warm, golden hue. The front and sides display curved lines, an emblematic silhouette of the Rococo style. It has 2 keys with functional locks. The lock entries and drawer pulls are made of bronze (or gilded metal) with twisted floral motifs, as well as metal drops on the edges of the legs. Ideal for a bedroom or an entrance with a mirror on top. Width 90, depth 40, height 81.
