Louis XV style chest of drawers in solid raw oak, 1920

Superb and elegant antique 1920 Louis XV style chest of drawers, solid raw oak, pegged and carved. Very beautiful workmanship. This chest of drawers has been carefully sanded by hand with a colorless matte oil finish. The inside of each drawer has been lined with an olive leaf fabric. Healthy, stable and solid chest of drawers. It weighs very heavy. The drawers slide easily and are fitted with their original bronze fittings. Note the gaps and a crack on the bottom of a drawer, the wood has worked over time, without consequences, very solid! The top lock works but the wood has also worked on the drawers, it does not lock.
