High Louis XV Provençal style chiffonier from Arles

Louis XV Provençal style chest of drawers in solid walnut. Five drawers. Cabinetmaker's furniture. Very fine quality of manufacture. Magnificent carvings. Low front crosspiece finely carved with floral garlands and ribbon. Two curved and carved scrolling front legs. Front and sides with raised panels. Drawer fronts richly carved with foliage and flowers. Rounded front uprights carved with motifs repeating those of the front. Inside, each drawer belt is fully mounted in dovetails, including the back, which is very rare and indicates particular care in the manufacture of this piece of furniture. Very beautiful patina. Furniture in excellent condition. Stable and robust. The drawers slide very well. Interior in excellent condition. Internal dimensions of the drawers: 59.5 X 29.5 cm, height 12 CM.
