Massimo & Lella Vignelli, Kono Table for Casigliani

Architectural dining table or desk, named 'Kono', designed by Massimo and Lella Vignelli for Casigliani, Italy, in 1985. This piece exemplifies their mastery of minimalist aesthetics, featuring a crystal top delicately balanced on the tip of a 70 cm red copper cone and a sturdy black granite base. The use of elemental geometric shapes and the artful manipulation of materials, make this table an absolutely stunning appearance of refined simplicity. This table presents itself in nearly flawless condition, with only two minor chips on the edges of the glass top as illustrated in the accompanying images.
