Vintage Scandinavian Ekornes Svane retro daybed MidCentury 1960s

Beautiful vintage Norwegian Ekornes Svane teak daybed / sofa from the 1960s, featuring clean Scandinavian modern lines, tapered legs, an integrated side table, and a hidden storage compartment beneath the seat. The sofa has just been newly reupholstered in iconic Artek Polo fabric, giving the piece a fresh, graphic look while preserving its original mid-century character. The black-and-cream striped textile works beautifully with the warm teak frame and gives the sofa a striking balance of vintage Scandinavian design and contemporary styling. The seat lifts to reveal useful interior storage, while the attached teak side platform functions perfectly as a built-in side table for books, coffee, lighting, or decor. Condition: Very good vintage condition overall. The teak frame presents beautifully with minor surface wear and light marks consistent with age. The sofa has been professionally reupholstered in new Artek Polo fabric. Structurally solid and fully functional. Please review all photos carefully, as they form part of the description.
