Beautiful ceramic little vase hand painted by the Italian artist Elio Schiavon in 1994. The vase has a botanical painting on it and is signed at the bottom: 'Schiavon 94'. About the artist: Elio Schiavon (1925-2004) was an Italian ceramic artist. He studied at the School of Ceramic Art in Nova and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. In 1954 he opened his own workshop called Schiavon Ceramiche in Padua. Schiavon realized his creative ideas in a very individual and original style. He ran a workshop in which experience, innovation, curiosity, sensitivity and passion were the main ingredients of his ceramics.
