Set of 2 cups molded in opaque Sarreguemines earthenware

This lovely set of 2 plain cups is made of Opaque SARREGUEMINES earthenware. These cups come with their saucers. A lovely cream color, they are decorated with molded friezes of vine leaves and fruit. Also called terre de fer or China, they bear the mark "SARREGUEMINES FRANCE" and measure approximately 9 cm in diameter X 6.5 cm in height. The saucers measure 15.2 cm in diameter. In good overall condition, they have scratches from use and I note visible chips.
