SARREGUEMINES Set of 2 plain molded opaque earthenware cups 1900

This superb set of 2 plain cups is made of Opaque earthenware from SARREGUEMINES. These cups come with their saucers. In a pretty cream color, they are decorated with molded friezes of vine leaves and fruits. Also called terre de fer or China, they bear the mark "SARREGUEMINES FRANCE" and measure approximately 9 cm in diameter X 6.5 cm in height. The saucers measure 15.2 cm in diameter. In good general condition, they have scratches from use; I note a tiny chip and an enamel defect.
