Designed by giuseppe gaetano descalzi and manufactured since the beginning of the 19th century in the ligurian town of chiavari, italy, the "chiavarina" chair takes its name from the city and its design has been around for more than 200 years. Inspired by the napoleon III style, its structure is made of solid brass turned by hand and polished. The seat padded and covered with red velvet and rests on four tapered legs slightly curved in elephant tusk. Robust and unwearable, but all in finesse, this famous chair with a timeless look crosses the centuries without taking a wrinkle. Timeless and durable it is a safe investment as much as a classic of the decoration.
