Elegant Chiavari side chair from Italy, made in the 1950s. The slender brass frame has a shaped top rail and faux bamboo spindles in the back, and the legs are joined by turned stretchers. The seat is upholstered in red fabric, which gives a strong contrast with the warm brass. A light and graceful chair in the Hollywood Regency style, ideal as a side chair in a hallway, bedroom or dressing room. In good condition, with some tarnish spots on the brass. Seat height: 50 cm.
