Magnificent important cracked earthenware, depicting a reclining panther, European vintage production from the 1960s to 1980s. This elegant animal figure features a beautiful resting posture, with its head resting on its front paws, showcasing expressive modelling and a cracked finish in beige, ivory, and patinated grey tones. Its significant size and decorative presence make it an ideal piece for elegant decor. Length 50 cm, depth 30 cm, and height of approximately 13 to 14 cm. Overall in good condition, with an old open firing crack under the chin and three cracks under the base, one of which runs up along the elbow of the front paw for about 8 cm, and a smaller one under the front paws, discreetly blending with the crackling, the last being minimal under the tip of the hindquarters. These defects do not seem to weaken the structure. There are also variations in colour, lighter spots, and areas of brown patina at the back, as well as some signs of age consistent with the piece's age and manufacture. Approximately 5-6 kg.
