Charming sewing table in marquetry in the Louis XV style, made in France in the first half of the 20th century. Resting on four elegant cabriole legs, it captivates with the quality of its precious wood veneer and its rich marquetry decorations. The flap top features a delicate animated village landscape, executed in marquetry of different wood species. Once opened, it reveals an ingeniously arranged interior including a central mirror, two side compartments, and two front drawers, allowing for the storage of sewing accessories, jewellery, or toiletries. The drawer fronts are adorned with radiant floral marquetry and enhanced with bronze handles. This refined piece of furniture elegantly combines functionality and quality craftsmanship, and will naturally find its place in a bedroom, boudoir, or living room.
