Worked side table with two drawers and low top in lacquered and varnished wood from the late 19th century. This type of side table was used by wealthy Chinese families to place incense during receptions. The low crosspiece is finely openwork and the central part served as a display stand. The drawers are decorated with a raised cartouche with gadroon.
