Teak bench, norway 1960s/70s

A neat, teak coffee table made in norway in the 1960s/70s. The coffee table has 2 extensions with a depth of 17 cm each, which are pulled out from under the main top. This is a convenient solution, because the inserts do not need additional storage space. All tops are finished in teak veneer with beautiful graining and additionally there are veneer leaves in a mirror image on the extensions, which gives a very aesthetic appearance. Legs, edges, frame and side slats are made of solid teak wood. The whole has been completely renovated, cleaned of old coatings, slightly tinted to even out the color and protected with a hard oil-wax resistant to water and dirt. Scandinavian vintage design is high quality materials, simplicity, lightness and elegance as well as small details. Slender, tapering legs or thick, round edges, which after unfolding the bench are perfectly fitted, or brass fittings of the legs give the whole a unique appearance.
