The iconic lampette desk lamp was designed by koch creations, lynbrook, new york, usa in 1963 for eichhoff werke. The lampette can either stand on a tabletop or hang on the wall thanks to brackets mounted in the base. When not in use, it can be folded to a very compact size. Small size, minimalist form. The lamp housing and shade are made of high-quality plastic in black. The base and the lampshade are connected by a telescopic arm made of chrome-plated metal, which makes it possible to change the height and angle of the lamp, as well as to rotate its top 360 degrees, so lampette can shine in different directions. Lampette is on permanent display at the metropolitan museum of art (moma).
