A magnificent luxury english edwardian silver plated biscuit tin or cookie jar, decorated with raised decoration and a wheat ear finial on the hinged lid. Made in the 1900s by the prestigious silversmiths atkin brothers in england. This box, round and straight in shape, has hand chased fluting, a hinged lid with cast finial and stands on three feet. Large and impressive, this box could also be used as a decoration, a tea caddy or even an ice bucket. A round box with decorated edges, straight sides and a neoclassical style, with a domed hinged lid with cast finial and three cast feet.
