Alidade compass in thousandths of general peigné By delgrave et cie, paris. Dated 1917. Good condition and complete, works perfectly The compass still includes its instruction manual: paper pasted on top of the closed compass. 9.5 X 9.5 X 3 cm Topographic instrument serving as both a compass and an inclinometer to calculate site angles and maximum slopes in thousandths. (in order to pass machines, horses, infantry...) It has a level and its clinometer integrated into the lid. For the aiming of the angles of site is arranged a. groove on the opposite side to the 150mm ruler.
