Vintage Porthole Ashtray in Brass

Superb vintage bridge ashtray made of solid brass, designed in an authentic nautical spirit and inspired by ship portholes. Its hinged lid with glass and two butterfly nut latches recall traditional marine equipment, designed to prevent ashes from blowing away in windy conditions. Its beautiful natural patina gives it an antique charm and can be preserved or revived according to taste. A solid and decorative piece, it measures 11 cm in diameter and 3 cm in height. The fastening systems are fully functional. The glass is intact, with no cracks. Please note: the lid hinge is currently stiff and requires a light lubrication (such as oil or WD-40) to regain its smoothness.
