Louis XV two-body buffet-library, made of solid oak, featuring an elegant and balanced silhouette, typical of high-quality regional furniture from the late 18th century. The upper section opens with two glazed doors, revealing a shelf interior, ideal for displaying objects, tableware, or antique books. The glass panels are framed with finely crafted curved mouldings, adding rhythm and lightness to the whole. The curved crown, richly moulded, is centred with a sculpted cartouche, highlighting the elegance of the Louis XV line. The lower section opens with two full moulded doors, providing a generous storage space. The panels are harmoniously curved and accented with discreet yet refined sculptures, perfectly respecting the aesthetics of the period. The whole rests on a cut plinth with movement, bringing finesse and visual lightness to this beautifully proportioned piece. The wood exhibits a very beautiful old patina, warm and deep, resulting from time and careful maintenance. The state of preservation is very satisfactory, with signs of age consistent with the furniture's age, without structural alteration. This buffet will naturally find its place in a dining room, a living room, or a characterful kitchen, suitable for both a classic interior and a contemporary decor seeking an authentic and elegant piece. 📌 Period: Louis XV – 18th century 📌 Material: solid oak 📌 Opening: 2 glazed doors in the upper part, 2 solid doors in the lower part 📌 Condition: good antique condition, beautiful patina 📌 Dimensions: h239 x 150 x 66cm A piece of charm and authenticity, a testament to the craftsmanship of Louis XV cabinetmakers, ideal for lovers of quality antique furniture.
