Louis XV period cherry wood sideboard with two glass panels

Louis XV period double-section sideboard in solid cherry wood. What a lovely model! The upper part is shaped like a "policeman's hat." The cornice is deeply molded. All the carvings are positive: the wood is hollowed out right up to the motif. The policeman's hat movement is present on the lower and upper doors. The uprights are rounded, with raised moldings made from the block. The sides are mounted on a flat band, and the legs end in shells. The glass panels are original, and the back panels are made of solid walnut. The beeswax patina is warm and nuanced. H 252 cm D 64 cm W 148 cm (cornice level).
