Small Louis XVI style kidney-shaped mahogany pedestal table

Small kidney-shaped mahogany pedestal table, louis XVI style. Period late 19th century early 20th century. Sober and refined, this small flying table has an intact aleppo breche marble top, set in a gilded brass gallery, openwork. Its curved and sculpted base is joined by a mahogany veneer crotch-head table, also set in a finely chiseled gilded brass gallery. A smaller solid mahogany shelf is located at the bottom to ensure greater stability. Beautiful discovery condition.
