Small ceramic jug from the famous Talavera de la Reina factory in Spain, measuring 15.5 cm in height. It features two handles, a globular shape, and a fluted neck. Hand-painted in cobalt blue on a white glazed background. The central decoration depicts a leaping hare, surrounded by stylised plant motifs. Two braided handles in the shape of a Solomon's knot give it a baroque touch. Dimensions: 15.5 cm high X 14.5 cm wide X 9 cm deep. The base bears the handwritten inscription "TALAVERA, " a coat of arms, and the serial or model number "n° 103." According to the hallmark and the style of the painting, this jug dates from the second half of the 20th century (probably the 1960s or 1970s). This piece revisits classic motifs from the 18th century, particularly those from the so-called "polychrome" or "animal" series, in a high-quality souvenir or display format. Condition: The glaze shows no chips or significant cracks, which is essential for ceramics. As these are antique objects, they may show signs of wear. The photographs are an integral part of the description and condition.
