Mid Century Fat Lava 'Pugi' Vase

The central decoration is a cloisonné enamel design depicting a stylised horse, in a very vibrant red and blue palette, surrounded by a textured rim reminiscent of fat lava. This sculptural form is a typical decorative piece of Italian modernist ceramics, in the style of productions by Pugi and the Florentine workshops of the 1960s.
