This vintage mid-century teak round table was made in the 1970s most likely in Italy even though it is a form characteristic for Scandinavian modern design, there are small details that distinguish it form Northern Europe tables. The legs are very sculptural and there are big decorative metal pins, that attach the legs. Danish manufacturers usually kept their tables minimalist and without any ornaments or visible metal outside. Also it is higher than Danish tables from that period. The table diameter is 110 cm, and when fully unfolded, it is 145 cm long. The table is 76.5 cm H. The table is crafted from teak, showcasing beautifully patterned veneer that highlights the natural beauty of the material, also the pattern continues on the inner level. The extended table creates a beautiful oval shape and can be comfortably used by 6 people. It doesn't happen often in those old tables, but the inner leaf is in matching the veneer so well. The surface has been refinished with new lacquer, and it is in great condition. The extension mechanism has been checked and works properly. This piece remains in excellent vintage condition with minor signs of use.
