Cosack Leuchten colourful glass mosaic wall lamp

Red, orange and green glass form a graphic composition on the front plate of this Cosack Leuchten wall lamp from the 1960s. On top of this are transparent, irregularly shaped pieces of glass, interspersed with larger cast parts with different textures. When the lamp is off, the individual colours and shapes remain clearly visible. When it is on, the luminous layers merge more and mainly the red and orange light up, with green accents in between. The clear textured glass refracts the light and gives the composition depth. The thick glass parts protrude locally, making the relief visible from the side as well. A brass-coloured metal fixture frames the glass front plate. The lamp has been carefully cleaned. The socket and cord have been renewed; a switch is integrated into the cord. There are signs of use appropriate to the age. Height 20.5 cm Width 12.5 cm Depth 8 cm.
