Glazed earthenware plate, produced by the Boch factory in Belgium, in the 1960s–1970s, a period during which the company successfully reinterpreted the great classics of Delft decor. The centre of the plate features a lively winter scene, depicting skaters, a windmill, and traditional houses, rendered in a characteristic deep blue against a bright ivory background. The rim is adorned with a finely drawn stylised floral decoration that elegantly frames the scene, enhancing its strong decorative appeal. Stamped Boch fr–Delft Belgian manufacture. In good vintage condition, with slight signs of wear consistent with age; the visible cooking marks testify to careful glazing and skilled craftsmanship. Can be hung. Diameter 22 cm. Perfect in a contemporary cottage interior, reinterpreted heritage, or slow decor, where Delft blue adds freshness and character.
