12 dessert plates Saint-Amand

Superb small flat plates from Saint Amand (dessert or hors d'oeuvre plates). The mark on the back allows them to be dated between 1908 and 1932 (New Ceramic Factories of the North). The edges are embossed and in a lovely pastel blue. The central motif features a charming seascape, a windmill, and two trees by the water's edge on which a boat is sailing. Note that the motif on one of the 12 plates is reversed. All have slightly different colour shades and are in very good condition - see photos. Diameter: 19 cm. Weight (x12) before packaging: 3.4 kg.
