Unique scandinavian seating corner model-1001 af designed by sven ivar dysthe for dokka møbler in 1960. The 1001 series was presented in 1960. This version model 1001 af is without visible joints and with a wooden frame (instead of a metal frame). Made in the early 1960s, this rare norwegian set consists of an armchair and a three-seater sofa in rosewood with beautiful wood grain structure. The back seems to float due to two steel brackets on the corners. Very beautifully made and of high quality. This set has been restored, reupholstered with durable cold foam and very nice black leather. The condition is therefore very good again with some light signs of use on the wooden frame. Dimensions: armchair h X w X d = 77 X 71 X 77 cm and the seat height is 38 cm, three-seater sofa: h X w X d = 77 X 184 X 77 cm and the seat height is 38 cm. An asset for a luxurious office or modern interior. The price is for the three-seater sofa and the matching armchair. Source: book dysthe design, swinging 60 by wildar halén, pages 69, 70 and 71.
