Small enamel painting on hammered copper plate, helca process: the harvesters by brueghel. Size 10 X 13cm in gilded wood frame and mustard-colored velvet 19 X 23 X 3cm. Wall hanging system on the back. Helca label on the back "frame painted with leaf", "hand-hammered, sgsg process..." small tear on red felt on the back otherwise very good condition. - the original painting "the harvest or the harvesters" was painted by pieter brueghel the elder in 1565. It is kept at the metropolitan museum of art in new york and is part of a series of 6 paintings on the seasons. Packaged weight 500g.
