Pair of sculptural cast iron chenets with twisted heads

Pair of sculptural cast iron shirts. Twisted heads and base with stylized decoration. French work of the mid-twentieth century. Very nice overall condition. The chenets have been cleaned but not stripped to preserve their remarkable authentic patina. The total height of a chenet is 54.5 cm; its total depth is 45 cm and its total width is 17.5 cm.
