Basket cardboard boiled blackened papier-mâché and mother-of-pearl, chinoiseries of the nineteenth century

Superb napoleon III period basket, decorated with gilding, mother-of-pearl inslays on a black background depicting landscapes and characters from asia. Probably a production of pont a mousson of the late nineteenth century. I only note a lack of material twice on the ledge, as well as some mother-of-pearl inlays, highlighted in the photos.
