Cubist still life after Georges Braque, 1950-1970

Oil on plywood panel. 27 X 35 cm / 42 X 50 cm with frame. Inscription on the reverse, difficult to read: Collection… [?] This anonymous oil reproduces the Still Life with Lemons painted by Braque in 1929, later engraved in a limited edition of 300 copies in 1960. Its frame has a lovely patina, and the mounting is typical of the mid-20th century. The painting can be dated between 1950 and 1970.
