Swedish modern large oil landscape by the well-known swedish painter tage nilsson (1926-1997). It was painted by the artist in 1960s. The painting is signed by hand with the tn monogram in the lower left corner and signed and described on the back of the painting by the painter. Oil painting on panel in an original massive frame. Gustaf tage nilsson (26 february 1926 – 6 july 1997) was a swedish painter, draughtsman and printmaker. He pursued grammar school studies and then attended isaac grünewald's school of painting from 1944 to 1946. Then followed studies with andré lhote and othon friesz in paris in 1947–1954. He had exhibitions in stockholm, poland and germany. He was a member of the artists' national organization and the artists' club. Tage nilsson received the city of stockholm's cultural scholarship in 1961. Nilsson is represented at örebro county museum and örebro county council.
