Tripod lamp in glass and brass by MD, Italy circa 1950.

Very pretty and rare small lamp from around 1950. Made in Italy by M.D (label on the back of the lamp, see photo). Tripod model in gilded brass supporting a curved glass diffuser and satin black metal on the back, cream lacquered on the inside. Brass glass fixing beads. Total height 20.5 cm, of which glass 11.5 cm, width 24.5 cm and depth 16 cm. Original checked electrical cord of 144 cm. In very good used condition (however, minimal wear to the gilding should be noted), this very original and superb quality small lamp will serve as both an ambient lamp in a living room and a bedside lamp in a bedroom. Italian class!!!.
