Beautiful patinated pine bookcase (circa 1900).

Very beautiful pine dresser, or bookcase, but old pine, circa 1900 - so with a superb patina and very pretty natural grains. It opens with two glass doors at the top, which give onto 4 fixed shelves 20 cm deep. The left door is false with a hook on the middle shelf and the right one closes with key and locks (added and functional). Note the beautiful central molded plinth, in fact on the right door, which gives a lot of character to the piece of furniture. At the bottom, two solid doors open onto 2 fixed shelves in original solid wood. Same closing system, hook plus added functional lock. The shelves and the solid sides have been nailed with fairly large pointed nails, which can be seen on the sides. But this adds a professional furniture look to this adorably rustic bookcase. There are of course traces of wear and tear, usual defects, but it has been completely cleaned and is in excellent general condition, ready to use. It is also very compact. H: 196 cm.
