Large flat desk in the Louis XVI style, made of black lacquered wood with gold fillet highlights. The apron opens to three drawers at the front, with moulded panels and cut glass knobs; the tapered legs, also highlighted with a fillet, end in brass sabot feet. The top is lacquered and bordered with a gilded strip. It measures 130 cm wide, 80 cm deep, and 78 cm high, making it suitable for placement as an island in the middle of a room.
