Flat desk – Louis XVI style – Solid oak and veneer – Restored

Flat desk in Louis XVI style made of solid oak and oak veneer, fully restored by our workshop. The rectangular top, dressed with a double frame in oak veneer with pronounced grain, features a rounded moulded profile on the edges. The apron is equipped with three drawers with metal ring handles, fitted with three keys made anew in the workshop; the dovetail joints of the drawers attest to careful cabinetry. The slightly curved tapered legs, characteristic of the Louis XVI style, are topped with sculpted console-shaped corner blocks. The overall colour is uniform, honey-gold, with no apparent defects. The height under the frieze is 64 cm. The item is entirely original in its structure, restored to its general condition; locks and keys are functional.
