School map Vidal-Lablache No. 23 Palestine COLLECTOR

Superb antique school map signed by Vidal-Lablache, number 23, in a particularly rich and decorative double-sided version. One side presents the Map of the East for the study of the history of the Hebrew people up to the early centuries of the Christian era (Jerusalem, Babylon, Nineveh, Memphis…), while the other illustrates Palestine divided into 12 tribes as well as Palestine in the time of Jesus Christ (Nazareth, Bethlehem, Jerusalem…). The colours are bright and well-preserved, with a beautiful patina on the paper that gives it all its charm. The whole offers a clear and graphic reading, typical of the great French educational maps of the 20th century. A piece that is both historical and very decorative, ideal for a living room, an office, or a library. Dimensions: 100 X 120 cm. Condition: Very good overall condition.
