Superb vintage ceramic soup tureen from a workshop, in the spirit of French modernist productions from the 1960s–1970s, reminiscent of the workshops in Vallauris. The piece is distinguished by its two figurative handles with stylised feminine shapes, as well as its remarkable nuanced turquoise green glazing, flowing vertically over the lid and body. This contrast with the matte brown ceramic gives it a strong sculptural presence and a unique character. The lid's knob features the same glaze, creating a harmonious and very aesthetic ensemble. A very beautiful decorative piece, ideal on a sideboard, a side table, a console, or as a centrepiece. An object of curiosity or a collector's item. Condition: good condition. Notable are some chips on the inner edge and a small mark on one of the handles (see photos). These traces are consistent with the age of the piece. • Total weight: 3.22 kg. • Weight of the lid: 504g.
