Art Deco wooden and brass cigarette box with curtain + glass ashtray

Superb Art Deco cigarette box / case (1930s / 1940s) made of worked solid wood, adorned with profiled brass fittings on the sides. Features and details: Opening system: Sliding curtain lid (desk-style) opening to a main compartment. Lower drawer: Contains an original moulded glass ashtray set in a chased metal rim. Included accessory: A vintage wooden (heather) cigar holder / cigarette holder with a perforated design and black tip. Materials: Warm-toned stained wood, brass, glass, and a blackened wooden base. Approximate dimensions: Closed box: About 14 cm (width) X 12 cm (depth) X 8 cm (height). Ashtray diameter: About 9 to 10 cm. Cigar holder length: About 11 to 12 cm. Condition: Very good overall vintage condition with a lovely patina of time. The curtain and drawer mechanism works well. Some light signs of use on the wood and brass that attest to its authenticity (see photos).
