French Empire Neoclassical 7-Light Candelabra in Gilt Bronze and Crystal

Magnificent French Empire Neoclassical Candelabra “Retour d’Egypte” A very attractive large French Empire Candelabra in Gilt Bronze and adorned with Rock Crystal strings for seven Candles which dates to the early 19th century, ca 1810-1830. Three footed base adorned with 3 beautiful Egyption Ehyprian/Caryatid style female heads. Their hair being dressed in ancient Greek fashion with crown. Overall casting quality, finely chiseled with great details, no identifying markings found. The candlestick can be dismantled. This candelabra is a stunning centerpiece which reflects the disciplined elegance typical of Empire style, yet with an exotic twist that makes these pieces particularly unique. Very good condition, minimum signs of usage. The candlestick can be dismantled for easy transport.
