Mid-century leather floor lamp by Jacques Adnet for Valenti, Spain, 1960s.

Vintage design. Rare mid-century floor lamp by Valenti. This piece is often incorrectly attributed to the French designer Jacques Adnet. The complete floor lamp is meticulously covered in red leather. The visible stitching illustrates the handmade aspect and quality of this work. The design is based on the shape of a cone with a heavy base and a shade matching the other end, connected by a rod forming a semi-arc. The shade can be aligned via a ball joint, and a special toggle switch is located at the base. The floor lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina. The electrical system has been professionally renovated, and the leather has been partially prepared by a specialist.
