Tulip coffee table in walnut, mid-century modern style, restored by Dřevotvar, 1960s.

This elegant mid-20th century modern coffee table was made by Drevotvar in Czechoslovakia in the 1960s-1970s. Its oval walnut veneer top, with a warm and expressive grain, rests on a sculptural turned wood column and an imposing white-painted tulip base in steel. Its design evokes the iconic aesthetic of Eero Saarinen's Tulip collection, blending Scandinavian influences and organic modernism. The table has been fully restored.
