Fruit wood harness from the shanghai region (eastern china). Very good condition. The visible slot on the tray is not a crack in the wood, but a very common expansion joint for ancient chinese tables. The bottom of the harness is a very nice woodworking work according to the so-called "broken ice" model. This piece of furniture, assembled without nails, in tenons and mortises, dates from the beginning of the 20th century.
