Magnificent pair of carved solid mahogany gondola bergères from the Charles X period. Work from the 19th century. With gondola backs, these charming bergères feature delicate carvings on the uprights, pediments and legs, adding a touch of elegance. The slightly curved armrests blend into the backrest, providing optimal comfort. Scrolled legs at the front and saber feet at the back. Perfect stability. These bergères are covered with a tapestry in perfect condition, delicate and refined in shades of old pink and ecru, with motifs of putti and flower medallions. Very comfortable and plump seat. Seat height: 42 cm. Note the old restoration on a pediment, see photo. Very well preserved.
