Pair of Mahogany Gondola Chairs, Restoration period – Part 1 of the 19th century

Beautiful set of solid mahogany chairs with an enveloping gondola back with a long curved mahogany band and original silk upholstery, iridescent blue. The seat is squared and has a removable cushion. These seats rest on two knuckle legs at the front and sabre rear legs, turned outwards for perfect stability. ******** period: early 19th century finish: varnish fabric used condition (plan to replace it) excellent condition after restoration in our workshop.
