Elegant meridian or chaise longue from the Restoration period, resting on a finely moulded solid wood structure. The curved backrest and asymmetrical armrests are characteristic of furniture from the first third of the 19th century. The base features beautiful, understated, and elegant sculptural work. The meridian is upholstered in a decorative striped fabric in blue and ochre tones, adding a lot of charm to the whole piece. An interesting feature: a side section unfolds, allowing the seat to be extended for added comfort.
