Set of 2 Trieste Folding Chairs Vintage from 1960's

Set of 2 legendary Italian design folding chair Trieste by Aldo Jacober style. This design was very popular in former Yugoslavia in mid century modern as a chair for students and for events as it is very compact and useful. The chair was created in minimalist Scandinavian style which is almost timeless. There is no label or designer mark on the chairs, but it is clear that they are products designed by Alberto Jacober. They were manufactured under license in Yugoslavia by Slovenian company STOL Kamnik. The wood is beech and the office chair features a wooden structure which can be folded up for easy storage and transport. It's a great classic industrial design icon from MCM which impresses with its simplicity and practicality. They were already white in the original, and once later they were painted white again over the base color. This is called shabby chic style. This vintage desk chair will come in handy as a nightstand, bedside or plant stand. With use and wear over the decades, a wonderful original shabby chic look was created. We cleaned the chairs thoroughly, sanded them and removed the peeling paint and coated them with wax. So they are ready to use. The price is for a pair of chairs.
